As AI technology becomes more common in everyday life, some gas stations may be using automated pricing models to raise prices together with their competitors. These models make gasoline more expensive for everyone. We are investigating whether these gas stations are using automated pricing software to raise fuel prices in ways that violate California law.

Why it matters to you.

If you have purchased gasoline in California, you may have been overcharged by these automated pricing models and may be able to seek monetary compensation. Further, by leading a lawsuit we may file, you would be using your voice to help consumers push back on big corporations’ use of AI pricing to enrich themselves by making gas more expensive for California customers.
